Benefits of Membership
On behalf of the Ambulatory & Urgent Care Association
of Arizona (AUCAA), we appreciate your interest in becoming a member
of the Association. We are confident that you will receive benefits
from your membership that far exceed the cost of dues. A few of
the benefits that membership will afford your urgent care center
include the following.
- Comprehensive representation at all levels of
government to advance, promote and protect the urgent care industry.
- Representation before the Arizona Legislature,
including: advocating for necessary statutory changes; opposing
adverse legislation; amending proposed legislation; and, monitoring
all introduced legislation.
- Representation before the Arizona Department
of Health Services to influence and advocate for necessary changes
and modifications to proposed administrative rules governing urgent
care centers.
- Recognition as a healthcare stakeholder and involvement
in healthcare policymaking at all levels to ensure that the urgent
care industry’s interests are represented.
- Influence of public policy without identifying
or singling out a particular urgent care center by joining together
to maximize effectiveness.
- A forum to meet with other urgent care centers
to identify and further numerous industry goals through one unified
voice, including: meeting with vendors; meeting with legislators;
meeting with state, county and local officials; meeting with other
healthcare groups; and, meeting with insurers.
- Access to all Association materials, including:
legislative materials; rulemaking materials; memoranda; newsletters;
Association alerts; and other Association information.
- Listing on the Association website and input
on web content. In the future, potential participation in the
establishment and implementation of certification processes.
- Participation in promotion of urgent care industry
through numerous means to ensure that the public is appropriately
educated and familiar with urgent care services.
- Access to numerous vendors through their participation
as associate members.
